  As a resident of Jindabyne, I love getting to Birchwood (particularly for food) whenever I can. Their specials board never disappoints - I nearly always order from it. I am constantly amazed at the delicate, yet powerful combinations of flavours for maximum impact on my palate... today's special, the Pork Belly and Chorizo Burrito, was the final meal in a long list of delicious dishes this summer that compelled me to get online and rave about Birchwood publicly. They really know their flavours! Whether you're a local or just visiting for a short period of time, Birchwood is a must. No bookings though, so sometimes you may need to brace yourself for a (well worth it) wait.

  I had the breakfast special which was Corn, quinoa and kale fritters, beetroot feta cream, eggs, smoked salmon and herbs. It was the best breakfast I've had in a long time!!! As good as any cafe in Sydney and a foodie heaven!

  I came to check this place out by getting a short black. The single origin at the time was from Brazil & stated as having cocoa & honeycomb notes with a floral finish. It was described perfectly & the flavoir definitely came through so the barista certainly did a good job.
