  Our shared squid was quite good with a spicy sauce. Ramen wasn't sensational but was bad either. I'd have both again.

  Busy Sunday. From arrival it was 45 minutes until our food arrived for our table of 2. Rooms was very smokey. Yes it happens in Japan but we couldn't leave our coats outside.

  most authentic Japanese Ive had so far. The food was amazing, the staff were amazing, they kept checking on us often and the drinks kept coming. The wait time for food was not long at all. Couldn't speak more highly of this place. cheers for a great night!

  Ok but not great! Calamari was a little tough but nice spice, gyoza were just wrong - not the right texture and no crispy bottom like they're meant too, prawns were just meh - sauce was the best bit, umeshu was a very sweet version and there was only one option - they should have more, the Shiraz (pitchfork) was horrible - not something I would expect could come from Margaret River my favourite wine region. Then there was the beef tataki... this was the best part of the night - yummy and really tender meat, just don't expect it to be thinly sliced like it is traditionally. We may go back, but will definitely be very selective in what we order.
