  Beautiful surroundings. Schnapps tastings yum and informative. Lunch and dessert enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit if coming to the Snowy mountains.

  This is a great restaurant to visit. I came on market day which was quite small in number of stalls. I stayed for a coffee and the flourless chocolate cake, both of which was delicious. I liked how rustic the place looked, including the pot belly stoves, wooden fence sliding door and the spoon and fork chandelier.

  I was seated next to the schnapps tasting and listened to David and his animated and interesting descriptions to tasters after tasters. He was polite and engaging to others and to myself also. He actually saw me to a table when I first arrived. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a nice place to get away from it all and chill in the mountains.

  We are a group of people that come annually to the snowy mountains as do many of our family and friends who will now never visit or buy from the distillery again. And we Are big spenders. Good job David! If you're going to be in customer service maybe learn some or move on. See you next Tuesday!

  I agree with Kristen's comments below. David who does the tastings has to be one of the rudest people we have ever met. And did a great job to ruin what had been a lovely 4 days at the snow. He was not interested in telling us anything about the schnapps or gin. He said to "this is like the mcg on a grand final day: 80000 ungrateful people through the door. I'm just your $100 an hour Sunday boy". Still not sure what that means......Then told my husband to walk back in with a better attitude when he'd not opened his mouth. The whole interaction lasted all of 2 minutes.

  Nice continental-style food, and of course delicious schnapps and gin distilled on the property to pair with anything. The Schnappygato with butterscotch schnapps and coffee that will put hair on your chest is an exceptional way to end a meal.

  The property is beautiful. Relax in the sun outside or inside while getting free tasting of their famous schnappes. Food is excellent as is the service.
