  Took my wife down here so she could see the snow for the first time, didn't want to stay in town or crowded areas so looked a bit further out and found Snowy Wilderness. We stayed in the cottage which was absolutely fantastic, its self contained and is situated in its own area of the property miles away from everything else. I could not fault anything. Highly recommended to couples who want a private romantic escape.

  Beautiful spot to go horse riding. The day trek is long enough to enjoy lots of the land, and do some trotting. it was the perfect mix of guidance and instruction for a new rider, and freedom to get to know your horse and feel trusted with it. The spot where we stopped for lunch was breathtakingly picturesque, and we saw the wild brumbies as well as rabbits, wombats and deer on the property. Justin is very accommodating, and even offered me his truck to borrow to get back to town! What a perfect experience in the high country.

  The two room lodge was amazing! Two couples and we had the best time - so clean and well appointed. The hour to perisher valley was worth it, especially for the trip back with sensational sunsets!

  Beautiful scenery and excellent experience. Very well run. Thankyou very much for our fantastic three night stay! Stayed at the honestead during October.. great place to unwind as well as enjoy the incredible scenery! Thanks Justin for recommending the barry way drive to Vic border! What a stunning drive! I highly recommend their Osso Bucco pizza and pork belly pizza! Great night in the woolshed where the owners made us feel right at home. We will defiantely be back!

  Horses were inexperienced and not very well trained.

  The staff thought it was a good idea to spook the horse by yelling "don't do this and that".. resulting in me getting bucked off!
